About Us and Our Approach

Our Approach
C Zone's coaching approach and bespoke programmes are quite unique. Positive Psychology, Mindfulness and Personal Construct Psychology are integrated to produce a powerful and effective method of eliciting change and promoting personal and professional growth.
• Positive Psychology is the science and study of how and why individuals, groups and organisations thrive and flourish. Positive Psychology focuses on personal growth, human strength, meaning, fulfilment and happiness. Positive Psychology Interventions (PPI's) are not a denial of the negative but they do promote balance in the experience and expression of emotions, behaviours and attitudes. PPI's concentrate on bringing the best of who we are to the fore.
• Mindfulness is a technique and skill which, when developed or employed, brings a state of conscious awareness of one's thoughts, feelings, behaviours and responses. Regular practice is found to alter the structure of our brains, bringing qualities of calm, control, equilibrium, acceptance, tolerance and patience.
• Personal Construct Psychology (PCP) is a theory of personality and cognition - how people make sense of their world. The PCP applications and techniques used are quite structured and designed to facilitate individuals and groups to understand, analyse and clarify their reality and experiences. PCP applications and techniques are powerful aids to decision-making.
Positive Psychology-based coaching and facilitation is growing in popularity in organisational development in Ireland and the UK, as is mindfulness. These disciplines are highly effective as stand-alone interventions, however, together they have proven to be a powerful combination for building awareness, perspective, clarity, control and confidence. The additional element of PCP methodology brings structure and definition to the process and supports positive goal focused outcomes.
Jane is one of a small group of Business Psychologists who combines Positive Psychology and Mindfulness in her practice and is understood to be the only practitioner in Ireland to practice with all three disciplines.
