Resilience Skills and Mindfulness for Insight, Harmony and Balance.
When 'Centered' we are authentic and true to ourselves: connected, aware and emotionally grounded. When we are resilient, we cope positively with the challenges life brings us; we adapt well to change and are more insulated from intense stress reactions. Research on resilience and mindfulness tells us that resilience can be developed as a skill and mindfulness practices strongly support the development of these skills.
The Centered Zone programmes use a combination of Positive Psychology, Character Strengths, Constructivism, Coaching and Mindfulness to examine values, belief systems, attention and learned patterns. The courses aim to develop healthy emotional, cognitive and behavioural habits; to increase positive emotions and experiences; and how to incorporate ‘mindful moments’ into busy lives.
The skills of resilience, mindfulness and positive attention brings perspective, control and calm to everyday life and work.
